da realsbet: Klopp is still on the hunt for one or two more signings to strengthen his potential title-winning squad.
da bet nacional: After missing out on the Champions League title, the Reds are not far away from challenging for silverware next season. The club have been strongly linked with a move for Lyon playmaker, Nabil Fekir early in the transfer window but for the deal to break down over medical details. A £53 million fee had been agreed and although Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas declared that the deal was now over, the Mirror is now reporting that the two clubs could now strike a deal as Lyon have begun talks to sign Fekir’s replacement, Hakim Ziyech.
The Breakdown
The French club are in talks to sign Hakim Ziyech, with Ajax confirming that a deal is in place for the Algerian midfielder to leave the club but have not yet announced the transfer. If Lyon can get a deal for Ziyech over the line, it would seem that Fekir’s move to Liverpool would be inevitable.
The highly-talented midfielder would be a direct replacement for Philippe Coutinho in Klopp’s midfield. With the Reds already possessing one of the best front threes in Europe, a creative 10 in behind would only bolster Liverpool’s attacking options.
Fekir scored 18 goals in Ligue 1 to go with seven assists last season, and was one of the better creative midfielders in Europe. Although there may be some concerns over the midfielder’s injury history, he’d be a superb talent for Klopp and might just give the Reds an edge in next season’s Premier League campaign.
