da fezbet: Arsenal travel the short distance to West Ham on Saturday hoping to capitalise on any dropped points over the weekend, with two of the top four set to play each other in Manchester.
da bet nacional: West Ham, on the other hand, are hoping to reverse a losing trend, having lost all of their last five matches.
Both teams went out of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night but Arsenal will have the fresher team after making a lot of changes for the defeat to Southampton.
Encouragingly for the Hammers, Arsenal have failed to beat them in the last two meetings between the sides and can again call on Andy Carroll, who is likely to return from a three-month injury layoff.
Should both teams play to their ability, on paper it should be both an entertaining and competitive encounter.
Here are our THREE key battles on the pitch on the pitch tomorrow that will affect the outcome of the match.
Andy Carroll vs. Laurent Koscielny
In West Ham’s last home fixture against Arsenal, Andy Carroll gave the Arsenal defence a torrid time, scoring a sensational hat-trick to earn a point against the Gunners.
With Bilic’s strikers misfiring badly this season, the return of Carroll will be a welcome sight should he make it.
It’s difficult to return after three months of zero football but the big striker has the determination and quality to make an impact on the fixture.
Koscielny will be looking to prove he can keep Carroll at bay, the centre-back one of the defenders who Carroll traumatised in April.
Alexis Sanchez vs. Winston Reid
With ten goals in 18 appearances for the Gunners this season, Alexis Sanchez continues to prove he is Arsenal’s most effective player.
Despite his team struggling for form, Winston Reid has been one of the few with pass marks for Bilic’s side this season. Reid has put in a number of excellent performances in the heart of the Hammers’ defence, most notably against Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.
It’s an intriguing match-up but it must be noted that none of the teams above a striker approaching the calibre of Sanchez.
If Reid can raise his game to match the threat of Sanchez it could go a long to way to getting a point or victory against Arsenal.
Theo Walcott vs. Arthur Masuaku
Theo Walcott has scored five Premier League goals against West Ham in his Arsenal career, no other club has been on the receiving end of as many from the attacker.
With 9 goals in 15 appearances this season, he’s playing as well for Arsenal right now as he ever has.
Returning to Premier League action from a knee injury that has kept him out for 6 weeks, left-back Arthur Masuaku will be facing one of the toughest tests of his career in Walcott.
The French defender showed promise that he before picking up that injury, contributing an assist for Antonio when he scored away to Manchester City.
Like Sanchez, keeping Walcott quiet is key to securing a result against Arsenal and it’s Masuaku that Bilic will look to for that task.
