Lammens didn't feature in Royal Antwerp's Belgian Pro League win over Mechelen last Sunday as he was left out of the matchday squad. This move by the Belgian Pro League side further fuelled speculations that he is on his way to join United.

If the Red Devils secure the transfer for Lammens, he could be the club's new No.1 and that means that one of Altay Bayindir or Andre Onana is likely to exit Old Trafford. Onana has been overlooked at the start of the 2025-26 campaign as Ruben Amorim fielded Bayindir against Arsenal and Fulham in their first two Premier League matches.
