England captain Kane did face Spurs in north London during the summer of 2024. He remained trophyless at that point, but finally broke his curse in that department last season when becoming a Bundesliga title winner.

Kane is now preparing to lock horns with familiar foes again, with Bayern playing host to Tottenham at the Allianz Arena on Thursday. The most prolific of No.9s will be eager to add to his goal tally against a team that he remains the all-time leading scorer for.
