Leeds confirmed another bit of transfer news on Thursday as they announced that Eunan O’Kane had joined Luton Town on an 18-month agreement.Getting the Irishman off their wage bill will be a boost for Leeds as the midfielder has been earning £8k a week at Elland Road, and reports from Football Insider indicate that the Hatters will be covering a large amount of his pay packet.Understandably, the club clearing a bit of space in their wage budget led to questions about whether or not they’ll be looking to bring a new player in.As always, Phil Hay had the answers.

What’s been said then?
After O’Kane’s departure on loan was announced, one supporter asked the journalist whether or not this means that Leeds will be active before Friday night’s deadline.
Unfortunately, The Athletic’s Leeds United correspondent confirmed that Leeds still have no plans to bring anyone in this month.
Wrong call
Realistically, Leeds should be in the market for another player. In all honesty, they’ve not strengthened all that much.
They’ve signed two teenagers who are unlikely to have too much of an impact on the first-team given their lack of senior experience – neither Ian Poveda or Elia Caprile have ever played a senior league game – while they also landed a striker in Jean-Kevin Augustin who has scored just once in the past 12 months.
United may have won on Tuesday, but it was another ropey performance as they had to come from two goals down to win. As a result, they’ve won just twice in their last eight games.
Further reinforcements could help halt this poor run of form, but it seems as though the Yorkshire club are happy with what they already have.
In other news, Phil Hay has said that Bielsa still has faith in one out of form star.
