Leeds United have been struggling in recent weeks and they now have just two wins in their last 11 Championship games after recording a 1-1 draw with Brentford on Tuesday.A lot of their struggle in recent weeks comes down to their defensive fragility, or rather due to the mistakes made by Kiko Casilla, who has proven to be something of a liability in recent weeks.

The Spaniard made a huge mistake in the game which ultimately led to the home team’s opening goal, allowing the ball to run loose in the penalty area for Said Benrahma who made no mistake with the goal at his mercy.
And of course Casilla was naturally at the centre of the post-match discussion and his future in the starting XI was discussed on Sky Sports’ The Debate show, with young stopper Illan Meslier waiting in the wings to replace the former Real Madrid man.
Here’s what Matt Murray had to say on the matter.
“I know he’s highly rated and he played really well against Arsenal. It is a big call but if you’re good enough, you’re old enough and sometimes you have to do it.”
Meslier has only made one senior appearance at Leeds in the cup game against Arsenal, which the Whites lost 1-0.
But with no one else available for Bielsa, he would be the only choice if Casilla is dropped in the near future.
